Contact troy at 7el dot us to schedule a consultation on using our Iowa-farm grown fuels in your food truck. The most complicated part will be permitting and determining how to pay the appropriate fuel taxes.
Give your food truck the best local, from the farm food grade fuels.
If you have a diesel truck, please contact troy at 7el dot us with details
on the gallons of fuel you currently use in a year, and the make/model
of the engine, and we can work out if running straight soybean oil with
a tank heater is an option, or if you will need fully-refined biodiesel.
Gasoline Conversions
If you have a gasoline or E85 vehicle, there are many
aftermarket
conversion kits that with slight modifications will allow running on 100%
natural food-grade ethanol. Current ATF regulations require a denaturant, to
prevent fuel ethanol from being used as liquor, so the most realistic choice
is to use E95 (ethanol denatured with 5% gasoline), and we can explore other
denaturants which meet the ATF requirements to make fuel alcohol 'unfit for
human consumption', but still are not toxic, cancer causing, and poisonous
like gasoline.
